Location:

Norbury & Croydon (On-site)

Salary:

30,480 (including sleep-in payments)

Hours:

42 hours per week (two days on, three days off, on a five-week rolling rota)

We specialise in caring for children aged 6 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, providing a structured and compassionate environment where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.

The Role:



We're excited to expand our team and invite applications for a Residential Support Worker. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the operations of one of our new homes. You'll work closely with the Deputy Care Manager and Senior Residential Support Workers to develop a high-quality care team and ensure outstanding support for up to two children.

Key Responsibilities:



Work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality care for children with complex needs. Complete detailed and accurate records to a high standard. Manage challenging behaviours and act as a positive role model. Build loving and trusting relationships, supporting children's emotional and social development. Maintain a safe, secure, and supportive environment in line with policies and procedures. Advocate for children and contribute to their care planning and progress.

Requirements:



Emotional resilience and the ability to manage challenging behaviours. Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within two years of starting the role (if not already held). Strong communication and record-keeping skills. Ability to help create a stable, supportive, and family-like environment that respects children's health, culture, religion, identity, and lifestyle. Commitment to following policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
