4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights, including weekends and public holidays)

Position Summary:

We are looking for reliable and alert

Waking Watch Security Officers

to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and occupants within residential and commercial buildings. Your primary focus will be fire safety--identifying hazards, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to any emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine patrols to detect fire risks, safety issues, or suspicious behavior Stay vigilant for early warning signs of fire or other threats Respond swiftly and safely to emergency situations, assisting in evacuation if needed Maintain clear and calm communication during incidents Accurately document patrols, incidents, and safety observations Work collaboratively with emergency services and site management Ensure full compliance with fire safety protocols and report any concerns Promote and maintain a safe environment for all building occupants

Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence

(Security Industry Authority) -

Essential

Excellent observation and decision-making skills Ability to stay calm and take initiative under pressure Strong verbal and interpersonal communication Physically able to complete patrols and respond quickly to emergencies Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
