It entails a novel process in waste water treatment which produces a biostimulant able to improve crop growth by regulating the release of nutrients from organo-mineral fertilisers. This project will involve setting up glasshouse and erosion studies to evaluate efficacy of the biostimulants. There will be links with organisations to produce fertiliser pellets and liaison with field trials involving a fertiliser company.About YouYou will have a PhD (or close to completion) in Soil Science, Agronomy, Geography or Crop Science and have experience in conducting glasshouse studies and agronomic field trials, laboratory analysis, data analysis and publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts.About UsAs a specialist postgraduate university, Cranfield's world-class expertise, large-scale facilities and unrivalled industry partnerships are creating leaders in technology and management globally.
