Offer Description
Hult International Business School is a non-profit educational pioneer and the first triple-accredited US business school. Ranked by the Financial Times, Economist, Forbes, and Bloomberg Businessweek, Hult offers undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs across its global campuses in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, and New York. The School\'s philosophy is that business skills can only truly be learned by doing. By immersing students from all over the world in practical, hands-on experiences from day one, this fresh approach to education is creating a global community of confident, entrepreneurially minded graduates, ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
Hult International Business School is seeking applications for Research Fellow in Business to join and contribute to Hult\'s growing Research Team. This position offers the exciting opportunity to work on projects covering a variety of research topics within an exciting research ecosystem. Topics range from technology within the premise of the fourth industrial revolution to leading sustainability transitions in the context of climate change. Further details on the projects and research topics can be found within Hult\'s three : the Futures Lab, Sustainability Lab and Coaching Lab.
The Research Fellow in Business will play a critical role in helping the Research Team to implement Hult\'s research strategy and objectives. Collaboration is a key aspect of the role; Research Fellow in Business will execute all research projects in coordination with other researchers and faculty. The successful candidate will work on a portfolio of projects that will require a range of skills both in empirical and theoretical work. The focus of the position will be to publish high quality academic research in top journals as well as established pedagogic research such as teaching cases. More specifically, Research Fellow in Business will be responsible for the writing of academic papers, and for ensuring successful completion of the publication process.
In addition, the candidate\'s tasks will include the writing of practitioner articles, case studies, literature reviews, the development of research methodologies, the building of research surveys and interview/focus group protocols, and the write-up of reports. Non-academic tasks will be secondary to the primary goal of publishing high quality academic research.
The candidate will benefit from an active and growing research environment in a global business school, and exposure to a diverse and dynamic ecosystem of faculty and researchers.
