Structural and electrophysiological assays will be used to track changes in hearing function.

The positions are funded by a Wellcome Trust Investigator Award and the Royal National Institute for Deaf People. One post is available until August 2025, the other until March 2026. The people appointed will report to Professor Karen P Steel at the Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Diseases, Guy\'s Campus, near London Bridge.
These posts will be offered as fixed-term contracts (1 x potdoc for two years 1st September 23 - 31st August and 1 x postdoc for two years 7 months 1st September 23 - 31st March 2026)
Funding is available for full-time work- 100% full time equivalent - but reduced hours will be considered for an appropriate candidate.
