About the role:
You will be working on the MELODIC (Music therapy Embedded in the Life Of Inpatient Dementia Care) research project, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research. You will support data collection at all stages of the project, including qualitative and quantitative research methods. You will also support with recruitment, data analysis, interpreting the findings and disseminating the results. You will support the team to develop the MELODIC intervention, building on findings from the data, and refine this through two pilot studies. Additional training needs will be identified and can be provided by the research team and internal training at Anglia Ruskin University. The role comes with opportunities to publish and present the research alongside the research team.
You will be a Music Therapist (HCPC registered) or have an equivalent AHP/Psychology degree and ideally have a Master\xe2\x80\x99s or PhD in progress. You\'ll have experience with conducting research, using qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies, demonstrate knowledge of co-design approaches to research. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. You should show a willingness and ability to learn new research skills and to work as part of a research team. Ideally you\'ll have experience of working with older persons with or without dementia.
