PRINCIPAL BUSINESS REVIEW

POSITION OVERVIEW:
A Principal of Business Review is a key member of our organization, being deployed globally to lead business review engagements at our clients’ sites and offices.
Responsibilities will include supervising the analysis team on the review, identifying the issues, changes required and improvement opportunities within the client’s organisation. Engaging with their executives to demonstrate that Renoir Consulting is the right partner to support them in the realisation of these opportunities.
The position works under the direct supervision of the Global Head of Business Review, and indirectly to the Group CEO, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. A successful candidate must be honest and ethical in all work, recognize the requirements of confidentiality, be intellectually curious about business processes, mindful of the technical and tactical requirements of a business review, and be up to date with best practices in management.

THE ROLE:
To manage a team of consultants to conduct a detailed review of our clients’ business in order to demonstrate transformational operational /financial opportunities.
Define end-to-end business and operational processes, understanding the client's business challenges/needs/gaps and identifying opportunities for improvements inclusive of the use of digital tools.
Identify opportunities to drive transformation in the areas of people, process, and technology.
Build a robust business and value case that will transform the clients organisation, which will deliver sustainable financial benefits.
To build a strong relationship with the client, across all levels, to enable a decision to move forward to a joint improvement project upon completion of the review phase.
To validate with and present our findings and conclusions to the client and to demonstrate and reach agreement on the project approach.
Negotiate a commercial proposal with the client that satisfies both parties and allows us to start working together rapidly to realise the improvements.
Being based at our client’s premises there is the need to travel, often at short notice, to various locations across the globe and to work in a wide range of industry sectors.

Ability to lead a team
Ability to develop and conduct detailed analysis to understand complex business issues and translate them into opportunities
Experience in leveraging technology to optimize a businesses operating model
The ability to build partnerships at Executive levels in the client’s organization
Ability to collaborate on diverse, cross-functional teams with technical, tactical and domain experts.
Fluent English is mandatory, and additional languages advantageous.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau skills
Personal commitment and drive are essential in order to succeed in this highly competitive and massively rewarding field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience within a consultancy, in operations, supply chain, turnaround, transformation, due diligence and/or IT consulting firms, or ideally an implementation consultancy.
Previous experience in managing and conducting business analyses for clients in diverse industries.
The experience to manage a team of consultants to deliver the required studies, under tight deadlines, to identify and validate the opportunities.
Experienced in multiple business operations: sales, client reviews, strategic reviews, due diligence, audits, data analytics, mergers & acquisitions, business analysis. Also multiple scopes of work such as production, maintenance, supply chain, logistics, finance, transformation, turnaround, etc.
Experienced in multiple industries (i.e. automotive, banking, retail, mining, oil & gas etc..
Experienced in the field of analytics tools such as Power BI/Tableau
Must have led project teams in delivering financial benefits to clients.
Must have significant international experience and be able to demonstrate cultural awareness and empathy.
