, we're looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our close-knit team in

Whiteinch a residential Move On service

supporting people in recovery.


Here, it's all about helping people take the next step. That could mean settling into a safe space, accessing stable accommodation, learning life skills, or building the confidence to try something new.


You'll work directly with individuals, building trust and offering practical and emotional support. One day you might be supporting someone at a housing appointment, the next helping them cook a meal, join a recovery group, or explore volunteering and training.


Every person is different, so every day brings something new and you'll be there to make sure people feel seen, heard, and empowered.

We're looking for someone with:



An SVQ Level 2 in Social Care Great people skills and a calm, encouraging approach Some experience in addictions or trauma-informed support would be a bonus You'll also need to be comfortable using a computer, be registered with the SSSC, and be part of the PVG scheme. As we do our work in Christ's name, you must also be respectful of our Christian ethos and able to work within it.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
