Are you passionate about supporting individuals through recovery and helping them rediscover their strength and purpose? At CrossReach, we're looking for an Addictions Worker to join our dedicated teams across three of our Highland services:

Beechwood House, Cale House and HRRC

.


This is more than just a job it's a calling to support people at their most vulnerable and walk alongside them on their journey towards recovery. Whether in residential or day care settings, your role will be to offer structured individual therapy, grounded in REBT (Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy) and cognitive behavioural approaches, creating a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to reflect, grow, and heal.

What you'll do:

Deliver one-to-one therapy to individuals accessing our services Work collaboratively with Specialist Addiction Workers to tailor support Support clients to build confidence and reach their personal goals Maintain clear and accurate records while safeguarding client confidentiality Play a key role in case conferences and team meetings Embrace ongoing professional development and reflective practice

Who we're looking for:

Ideally, you'll bring a qualification in health and social care, counselling, or addictions such as an SVQ Level 3, COSCA certificate, or postgraduate qualification in addictions. You'll also need to be confident working with REBT or CBT approaches and demonstrate a strong understanding of the challenges and sensitivities of addiction recovery work.

You should also:

Be comfortable using Microsoft Office and online systems Be registered (or eligible to register) with the SSSC Be a member of the PVG scheme Be respectful of our Christian ethos and willing to work within it

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
