Job Description

Catalent Pharma Solution are seeking to recruit a Reliability Technician to join our rapidly expanding facility in Swindon.

The Reliability Technician will carry out detailed troubleshooting into equipment failure with a focus on identifying root cause, and implementing industry best practice reliability-centred maintenance technology, focusing on right-first-time maintenance.

The Role

• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in equipment performance and failure rates
• Develop and maintain equipment history records and maintenance schedules
• Participate in equipment installation and commissioning activities, including inspection, testing, and validation
• Perform equipment reliability assessments and provide recommendations for improvements
• Conduct training sessions for operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation and maintenance practices
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in equipment reliability and maintenance
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and production teams as needed
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to identify and implement equipment upgrades and improvements

The Candidate

• Relevant engineering qualifications and/or degree in relevant field or comparable qualification, or currently studying for relevant qualification
• IT literate with demonstrable Data-ease and Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel/spreadsheets, Power point and Outlook
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical GMP requirements.
• Experience of applying systems to improve plant performance
• Skilled analytical thinker with the ability to critically assess requirements and select \xe2\x80\x9cbest fit\xe2\x80\x9d approach to meeting company objectives.
