Reliability Engineer

Our Team

INVISTA UK (Ltd) is looking to hire a Reliability Engineer at our Nylon Manufacturing facility in Gloucester. This role will focus as a strategic equipment owner and holds responsibilities as a reliability engineer. This person will provide leadership to drive reliability strategies and improvements across a diverse range of equipment types.

What You Will Do

• Perform root cause failure analysis to understand equipment failures and update equipment reliability/maintenance strategies as appropriate.
• Improve the effectiveness of maintenance schedules based on risk/reliability analysis.
• Explore, experiment and implement transformative technologies and methods to improve equipment reliability/availability.
• Coordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) whilst also analysing existing operational KPIs to identify gaps and areas of potential improvement.
• Develop project economics for investment decisions and provide project leadership as require.
• Manage change through defined processes (Mod Req) ensuring safety & quality objectives are met.
• Support the development and/or implementation of data management solution, asset performance monitoring and of risk-based maintenance tool.
• Assist in complex critical equipment troubleshooting and decide on scope of repair.
• Aside from your technical work you there is the potential to support company initiatives, for example, quality improvements, project involvement (developing and implementation), mentoring and coaching.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Appropriate qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar discipline.
• Experience with equipment reliability, assessment, and troubleshoot/diagnose support (RCFA/FMEA)
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resilient with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.
• Keen investigative nature with an ability to gather data and analyse reliability trends to develop effective improvements in reliability.
• Experience of implementing predictive maintenance policies and increasing asset availability.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage at all business levels.
• Knowledge of computer-based design software.
• Good presentation skills.
