We have an exciting opportunity for a Relationship Manager to join us within the Commercial Clients team.

As a Relationship Manager in our Commercial Clients team, you will support a Relationship Director with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients which include lending relationships. You will demonstrate a client focused approach to deliver day to day operational solutions for existing and new clients, working collaboratively with other areas of San UK to achieve this.

Developing a good understanding of the corporate banking sector and keep abreast of the wider economic and business environment.

Assisting Relationship Directors with prospect and clients plan and originating opportunities.

Developing a good understanding of products and services available to support Corporate and Commercial Clients.

Giving support to Relationship Director with the management and monitoring of the client portfolio including daily account excesses, timely receipt of financial info, annual review process, covenant monitoring and flagging potential risks.

Preparing returns analysis on lending deals for clients and prospects and understand the relationship between risk and return.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring.

Experience in a Relationship Management role within a Retail or Corporate banking environment

A digital mindset with experience in using digital tools including Salesforce, nCino and digital onboarding.

It would also be nice for you to have.

Ability to understand financial statements.

Adaptable and agile approach, constructively challenges and suggests improvements for processes and systems.

Excellent stakeholder management skills

This role a permanent position and is based in the East of England and you will be expected to spend 40% of your time in an office in this region.
