Regulatory Reporting Accountant

ROLE



As a

Regulatory Reporting Accountant

, you will prepare and perform analytical reviews on a suite of regulatory returns, predominantly Own Funds, Leverage, and Large exposures. You will ensure relevant stakeholders are engaged and will use your initiative to improve processes via production or data sources available within the business and leverage automation.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing returns to a high standard of accuracy Performing analytical reviews useful to management Escalating changes or concerns to the reviewing manager Owning the returns from production to submission Presenting to relevant stakeholders for submission approval

PERSON



Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with some prior exposure in a similar role/organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

Financial Reporting or regulatory reporting experience within financial services MS Excel skills (macro level desirable) and data manipulation Organisational and stakeholder management skills Experience with regulatory reporting software (e.g., WIRES, FIS) Excellent communication skills including managing stakeholders Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA desirable) Essential behaviours include being risk-aware, customer-focused, accountable, performance-driven, team-oriented, and future-oriented.
