Regulatory Officer
Job Description
Simpson Judge are currently working in partnership with a long-standing client who operate in the cosmetics & personal care space, and are looking to recruit a Regulatory Officer to their team. The reason for this hiring need is due to expansion within the team!
The purpose of this role is to support the wider regulatory team in ensuring adherence to all current and upcoming regulatory requirements of the cosmetics industry. This role would be suited to a Cosmetic Science graduate, the ideal candidate will have some knowledge of cosmetic regulations and an interest in cosmetics as a whole \xe2\x80\x93 full training will be provided to enhance your skills!
This role operates on a hybrid working policy, with only one day per week required at their site based in the Southwest of England\xe2\x80\xa6 although you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be based in the office a little more frequently whilst in the initial training phase.
Key Duties:
- Maintaining data for the database to ensure continued compliance
- Gather technical information
- Keep up to date with ingredient regulatory issues
- Deal with customer enquiries on ingredients
- Work closely with suppliers, procurement and the R&D team
- Accurately record and report data
- Support the wider regulatory team
- A degree in Cosmetic Science/Chemistry or similar
- Interest in the cosmetics industry
- Great organisational skills
