Our beautiful standalone Stafford practice is looking for an RVN to join and their experienced clinical team paying up to 30,000 (FTE, DOE)

You would join a very experienced and supportive clinical team who will support your development which could include you becoming the clinical coach

This is ideally a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week however we know that finding that work life balance is important so if you are looking for a different rota, please do speak with us and we will try to accommodate

No OOH, Sunday and no bank holidays! (except for Good Friday)

Certificates and CPD are encouraged

Our RCVS accredited, purpose built, and spacious standalone practice is located in central Stafford with excellent, direct transport links to Birmingham, London and Manchester and has Cannock Chase (an AONB) nearby.


The practice has high spec ultrasound, digital x-ray, latest IDEXX in-house laboratory, dental machine and dedicated theatre. The practice is RCVS accredited, and a silver ISFM practice with separate dog and cat kennels with dedicated isolation facilities.


You will be joining a clinical team consisting of 4 experienced veterinarians and you will be the 6th RVN on the team, along with an excellent support staff of 5 receptionists. We have a very happy working environment and all pride ourselves on the high level of service that we offer to both our clients and their pets.

The role:

Your role will focus on offering a friendly, efficient and caring service to both our clients and their patients while supporting the veterinary surgeons and support staff to ensure the practice runs smoothly. You will need to be confident in all aspects of veterinary nursing, have excellent customer service and communication skills, be an effective team player, have an organised and systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role efficiently.


You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by clients and colleagues alike. You will play a vital role in caring for surgical and in-patients' cases and will be responsible for running a range of in-house diagnostics. An important part of your role will be to help run our busy and popular nursing clinics.


Areas of special interest will be supported and encouraged. friendly, supportive and professional team. There is the opportunity for you to become a clinical coach if it is of interest.


The hours for this role are ideally full time and will include 1 in 6 Saturdays.
