Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with an award-winning Private Surgical Hospital, located in Bolton, who offer a full range of specialities including cardiology, cosmetic aesthetic surgery, ENT, general surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, and urology. At present, they are looking for an experienced Staff Nurse to join their wards department.

The Candidate
Our client is happy to consider nurses from all backgrounds as they can offer full training and support. As a Staff Nurse, you will work closely with the team providing care to patients following their surgical procedures, changing surgical wound dressings where necessary, taking out drain tubes and sutures from healed wounds, dispensing and delivering tablets, intravenous and intramuscular injections.

This is a full-time role consisting of 37.5 hours per week with flexible shift pattern covering a mixture of early, lates, weekends and rotational nights. They will also consider permanent nights.

Role Requirements

• Fully qualified RGN with 12 months post-registration experience
• NMC registered
• Keen interest in surgical care
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Resilient, willing to learn and able to work well under pressure
