Salary: \xc2\xa328,000 - \xc2\xa337,455 per annum
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available
Shifts: Options of Days only or Nights only or Mixed shifts - you can choose depending on your preference

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse (RMN and RNLD) to join a warm and welcoming Hospital, within Gosport - Hampshire. The Hospital supports Males presenting with Mental Illness and Complex Needs, that are often accompanied by challenging behaviours. The hospital does also provides community focused rehabilitation services within the care pathway.
The Hospital is split into two wards:
Trafalgar- 14 bedded Mental Health, Rehabilitation service
Victory- 12 bedded pre-discharge, Mental Health step-down service.
Developing patients\' skills for independence and helping them to learn new ways of managing their condition and symptoms, with the aim of helping to prevent any future relapse.
Job role:
Working with the multidisciplinary team during therapy sessions, working with groups to support patients with everyday living skills. An example of this would be encouraging patients to make their own meals, where appropriate, to develop and value their daily routine.
Supporting patients who present challenging behaviours by helping them to learn and develop new skills that positively impact on their responses to anxiety and distress.
Understanding the importance wellbeing plays in a successful recovery and future health. Patients have access to a full programme of on-site activities and established links with local colleges to provide education and vocational opportunities. A true focus on maximising rehabilitation potential.

An experienced or qualified Registered Nurse (RMN & RNLD) This hospital welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses AND Learning Disability Nurses. Full training and support will be given by your own designated mentor.
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK?
