Our stunning new home Egerton Manor Care Centre is a purpose-built 64 bed care facility and is situated in the picturesque Egerton, is a village in the unparished area of South Turton, in the northern part of the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. Historically a part of Lancashire, it is situated three miles north of Bolton and 12 miles north west of Manchester city centre within the West Pennine Moors. The is due to open October \xe2\x80\x9823 will provide the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to residents who have a variety of care needs. We offer residential, nursing and dementia care. We invest in the latest technology, and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion, they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in house trainers in conjunction with the New Care Academy. New Care has had no agency staff use for over 3 years as we employ a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care to residents from staff that know them and that residents know and trust. Across New Care all of our staff are paid above national living wage.
We are looking for a kind, caring and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on days. We have full time contract available, with an excellent hourly rate of \xc2\xa319.50 per hour. Plus fantastic company benefits including NMC fee paid, paid handover and breaks, bank holiday enhancements, paid training, support with revalidation and free onsite parking! Shift times are 0745-2000 and this will include weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Promote the highest standard of person centred clinical nursing care to residents.
\xc2\xb7 Manage, allocate duties and supervise the care team ensuring a quality delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
\xc2\xb7 To be a role model and demonstrate person centred care delivery.
\xc2\xb7 Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that you are responsible for or come into contact with.
\xc2\xb7 Manage the delivery of residents personalised care according to their agreed plan of care for the duration of a shift.
\xc2\xb7 Promote professional standards within the home supporting the Deputy and Home Manager.
\xc2\xb7 Provide supervision, coaching and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care through written care plans.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain correctly written records as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
\xc2\xb7 Manage daily rotas and delegate daily workload ensuring sufficient and safe use of manpower.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all new admission files are completed within the week of arrival and the named nurse, senior carer and key worker must all contribute to completing the file
\xc2\xb7 Build relationships with external professionals
\xc2\xb7 Assist the home manager to carry out regular quality audits of care plans
Skills and experience required:
\xc2\xb7 Experience in Elderly care is essential
\xc2\xb7 Registered Nurse with a Valid PIN
\xc2\xb7 Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older people in order to undertake the coaching and supervision of Senior Care and Care Assistants
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate the ability to co-ordinate and motivate a team
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and handle emergency situations effectively
