About Us:

Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of the children's home's operations. As the Registered Manager, you will ensure that we provide high-quality care and support to the children and meet Ofsted requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted quality standards. Lead, manage, and motivate staff to deliver high-quality care and support. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain robust safeguarding practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in care. Liaise with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to promote positive outcomes for children. Conduct regular reviews and audits to enhance service delivery and quality of care. Manage budgets and resources effectively to maintain operational excellence.

Person Specification:



Qualifications:



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.

Experience:



Significant experience in a management role within children's services, preferably in a residential setting. Proven track record of working effectively with children and young people with complex needs.

Skills:



Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Thorough understanding of legislative requirements, safeguarding, and child protection policies. Ability to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive outcomes.

Personal Attributes:



Compassionate, resilient, and empathetic towards the needs of children. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Commitment to the continuous professional development of self and team.
