What you'll be doing:
Managing an adult domiciliary care agency as the CQC Registered Manager.
Leading and developing the skill sets of an experienced, senior team, ensuring that effective induction, supervision, and assessment of staff is carried out and that training needs are identified and met.
Taking responsibility for the day to day running of the service in line with CQC standards and Care Manchester's policies and procedures.
Ensuring safeguarding practices and policies are adhered too, promoting effective leadership and governance.
Identifying, developing, and maintaining effective relationships with the individuals we support, our funding authorities and other stakeholders.
Assisting in the development and growth of Care Manchester's business in Manchester, achieving targets and delivery within agreed budgets.
Qualifications/Experience:
You should have at least 2 years of experience in a registered managers role, working in a Domiciliary care setting supporting people with physical disabilities, dementia, learning disability, mental health needs and/or autism.
Must be able to register as a Registered Manager.
Candidates must hold (or be working towards / willing to undertake) a minimum of a QCF Level 5 or equivalent in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care.
Must have Train the Trainer or similar qualification.
Proven skill in developing and maintaining continuous quality improvements in all areas of the business.
Administrative skills and experience in the use of software packages eg. Excel, Microsoft 365 etc.
Must hold full driving licence
Must have knowledge of Pro Contract
