Job Description

I am working with a well-established, multi award-winning Home Care service provider. They are looking for a proactive Registered Manager to manage the expansion of the service and run the new branch in a new territory. Candidates of different care setting backgrounds with management experience are welcomed to apply for this exciting role in a growing market.

The Role:

• To recruit care staff to meet service demand
• To line managing the team of care staff
• To manage clients and to be responsible for ensuring high standards for their ongoing care
• To manage the development and retention of the care staff

Registered Manager Attributes:

• The drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop care services
• A passion for providing the highest quality of care
• Extensive management experience with a proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service and achieving business targets
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• An ability to inspire others and build fantastic working relationships
• Strong organisation and planning skills
• Commercial awareness and has strong influencing and negotiating skills

Registered Manager Requirements:

• Must have achieved a Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work toward
• Must have a clean drivers licence
• Must have a good knowledge of IT systems
• Must have experience of managing a large team and leading teams successfully
• Must have good knowledge of the area and potential for business growth
• Able to carryout in depth risk assessments as well as creating in depth care plans for service users
