So, what\'s the job about?
Covering the Southwest of England and South Wales, you\'ll have the flexibility of working remotely, supporting our technical team by providing specialist knowledge to help resolve disputes when one of our products has failed in situ. As a Regional Technical Consultant, you\'ll have the opportunity to visit some really exciting projects and speak with contractors, architects, engineers, and domestic customers to complete full site surveys and report on product quality issues. You\'ll be travelling to various sites approximately 3-4 days per week which may involve overnight stays.

Using your technical knowledge of how to correctly install Marshalls products, you\'ll be required to complete and submit comprehensive reports, getting to the root cause of any issues, and providing excellent customer service along the way. Working across multiple teams, your role will involve establishing facts, minimising risks to the business, and protecting the brand. If a financial claim is raised, you will investigate, mitigate and justify costs to be paid out to any third party.

What skills do you need?
If you\'ve operated within a similar role before we\'d love to talk to you. Below are some additional skills and experiences that will stand you in good stead:

• Significant experience in a customer-facing role is essential
• Quality/construction related qualification is essential
• Experience in a construction or manufacturing related field is beneficial
• Be able to operate in line with safety, health, environment and quality procedures
• Be able to demonstrate flexibility to adapt and respond to change
• Proven ability to motivate self to meet targets and deliver results
• Strong negotiation skills to reach mutually satisfactory outcomes
• The ability to analyse and break down issues into their component parts and reach rational judgements based on information relevant to each case
• Strong ability to build a rapport with customers and colleagues, helping to generate loyalty and trust
• Confident and professional communicator
• Excellent presentation skills, using appropriate grammar, style and language for the audience
• A natural readiness to make decisions and take the initiative
• Experience of ISO 9001 Quality Management is desirable
• Specialist knowledge in a construction, manufacturing role or alternative related field is beneficial
• An understanding of Marshalls products will be beneficial
