WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve sales targets and build future demand for nVent LENTON concrete reinforcement products in Canada. This is a 100% remote role and the sales region is all of Canada.
Promote nVent LENTON products to rebar fabricators, engineers, end-users, inspectors, contractors, and job sites to affect a balanced market channel by specifying and demonstrating products from the LENTON product line.
Actively lead sales agent(s) (Where applicable), aligning goals with territory strategy
Establish relationships across all levels of key end-user customers and distributor partners
Coordinate and conduct technical presentations, and training and lead discussions with various sales channels providing expertise and highlighting our benefits and value propositions
Attend and represent LENTON at industry conferences, tradeshows, and events
Use Salesforce as a tool to handle opportunity pipelines and communicate feedback internally
Will work 100% remotely out of the home office with 50% travel expected on average
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, preferred (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering preferred), or applicable experience in technical sales
Ideally 5+ years experience in outside sales with technical sales as a priority
Knowledge of local building codes as well as an understanding of Reinforced Concrete Construction or the Precast market, is helpful
Construction and/or concrete industry experience preferred
Experience with a customer relationship management system, preferably salesforce.com
