Role: Regional Programme Manager - Mobile Telecom

Location: Flexible - 3 days per week site/supplier visit

Are you ready to lead and innovate in the dynamic world of telecommunications? Join the team with our leading telecom client as a Regional Programme Manager based in Theale and play a key role in shaping the future of connectivity.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of leading and motivating teams to deliver large volumes of sites against agreed targets as you will be leading a team of Acquisition, build and design delivery managers. You should have considerable experience of managing 3rd party suppliers.

You will be doing

• Lead, manage, develop and motivate the team to ensure that personal and functional objectives are met in line with the company scorecard.
• Ensure that all people processes (including recruitment, resourcing, performance management, recognition and reward) are undertaken to agreed standards and within published timelines (as appropriate).
• Agree targets with all stakeholders for all active programmes, through effective management enabling the specialist suppliers and team to deliver against these targets.
• Manage programme level issues and risks for owned acquisition and delivery activities to keep the programme on track for delivery including setting up and running projects to fix shortfalls in acquisition processes and improve acquisition tracking and reporting capabilities.
• Align the acquisition (operational) programme plan to Opex and Capex plans to ensure budget can be secured and commitment / spend can be forecast & tracked.
• Ensure that acquisition reporting and planning is aligned with that undertaken by the PMO which is managing the overall programme from start to finish, to avoid unnecessary duplication.
• Manage the contractual and commercial relationship with any outsource partners that are engaged in programme delivery from time to time.
• Plan projects and capture scope, objectives and resourcing requirements. Ensuring all key stakeholders sign up to the requirements to deliver against the plan.

To successful in this role, you should demonstrate experience:

• Considerable functional knowledge gained from working in a mobile telecoms network environment.
• Extensive experience of leading and motivating teams to deliver large volumes of sites against agreed targets.
• Considerable experience of managing 3rd party suppliers.
• Significant experience of senior management in a fast moving and fluid environment Experience of running projects within a Cellular Network Infrastructure Sharing environment.
• Extensive experience in managing conflict.
