What you'll be doing
In this role, you'll lead and motivate regional teams and volunteers, creating a culture of excellence, safety, and efficiency across all operations. You'll be responsible for implementing operational plans that align with regional goals, managing budgets and performance to deliver results.
Strong relationships are at the heart of our work, so you'll oversee contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery. Representing the CWGC locally, you'll play a key part in community outreach and public engagement, raising awareness of our mission and impact. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll drive innovation in how we work, while always championing our core values, alongside strict adherence to health and safety and quality standards.
What you need to have
Proven leadership and team management experience within operations, maintenance or facilities environments
Strong project management and scheduling expertise with a results-driven approach
Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with sound judgement and problem-solving ability
Experience working with contractors and volunteers, with a proactive and respectful style
A BTEC/NVQ Level 3/4 (or equivalent) in Horticulture, Works, Maintenance or Facilities Management
Passion for heritage, remembrance, and public service
A Full UK Valid Drivers Licence (Manual)
