Location: Bristol, UK (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol. We\'re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires two days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. .

To lead and manage the regional Property & Facilities team and have overall responsibility for the UCIA regional property portfolio.

A role you will love

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the UCIA region in shaping and implementing a property portfolio strategy, ensuring the portfolio is fit for purpose in the long term, including the use of innovative working initiatives.
  • Lead, develop and motivate a team.
  • Accountable for the management and delivery of property and facilities projects including new property requirements, lease renewals, refurbishments and the procurement of facilities services.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of operational facilities management including managing suppliers, outsourced facilities and partnerships; reviewing service and cost effectiveness
  • Accountable for health, safety & environmental requirements across the portfolio
  • Responsible for risk management within the property portfolio.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and insight to the business planning process and budgetary management.
  • Develop a customer focus culture and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, putting effective plans and policy in place
  • As the subject matter expert, collaborate with senior stakeholders in property matters and responsibilities ensuring that legal and procedural obligations are understood and met.
  • Lead on all areas of benchmarking, tender processes and consultant and contractor frameworks.

  • Expert in leading and managing a large professional estates and property function delivering the full breadth of Estate Services across multiple sites.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Proven ability to operate at a strategic level
  • Expert understanding of the legal and financial aspects of major property projects and transactions
  • Experienced Financial knowledge in managing, forecasting and controlling budgets
  • Ability to communicate to all levels across the business
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • BIFM - British Institute of Facilities Management qualified
