12 Month Fixed Term Recruitment Coordinator/Officer

The Opportunity



We are looking for a euthanistic, positive candidate who harbours a can-do attitude, to come join the People & Culture team in the newly created Recruitment Officer role to:

- Support the review project of the current recruitment process & system

- Build and grow the talent pipe line & headhunting for key roles

- Embed best recruitment practices in the company

While this is currently a 12 month fixed term contract, there may be potential for a move towards becoming permanent, dependent on the recruitment review project.

The Role



- Manage all administrative tasks relating to recruitment to onboarding including write up of offer/rejection communication, contracts of employment, liaising with candidates and recruiting managers, ensure all system actions have been completed and that the successful candidate has a smooth transition in to NPH.

- Ensure compliance checks are in place for all new starters including documentation presented for the right to work in the UK, DBS checks are processed and outcomes reviewed where applicable to roles and collate necessary information for payroll registration (P45/HMRC Starter Checklist, NI number, bank account details).

- Where applicable verify candidate credentials and include in their profiles.

- Ensure new starter information has been provided to the HR Administrator by the new employees start date so their details can be placed onto the HR System.

- Inform key stakeholders of new starters as part of onboarding and prepare welcome packs and induction for each new starter.

- Create monthly KPI and Recruitment Dashboard data to improve talent acquisition and support recruitment decision making.

- Carry out stakeholder meetings, partnering up to review future roles, provide progress feedback on current vacancies and provide benchmarking support.

- As part of candidate attraction, engage in head hunting.

- Provide screening service for applicants responding to adverts for specified roles set by the Head of People & Culture.

- Carry out introductory calls/meetings with all new employees, within their first two weeks, to ensure engagement and pick up any internal concerns they may have, informing the appropriate managers.

- Build NPH brand and promote roles at career fairs etc.

- Apprenticeships Scheme - support L&D Manager on the recruitment and onboarding process to include the agreements, compliance checks and check in meetings.

- Agency relationship - Maintain preferred supplier list which includes the negotiation of rates and contract management.

- Provide training/coaching to recruiting managers on the recruitment process, interviewing and use of people system.

- Develop and monitor talent pipeline.

- Build relationship with external stakeholders - Northampton Council/Job Centre/ Agencies etc.

- Support the Head of People & Culture with projects, embedding the changes within the company.
