Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Recovery to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from surgical procedures or medical interventions. This position requires a strong commitment to patient welfare and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during the recovery phase. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the recovery process. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery expectations. Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in accordance with hospital policies. Respond promptly to any changes in patient condition or emergencies.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy to understand the implications of surgical procedures on recovery. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Attention to detail for accurate documentation and monitoring of patient conditions. Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the recovery process.
