Reports to: Ag Service Manager

Supervises: None

Purpose:

Performs reconditioning of used equipment for resale as well as setting up new equipment (PDI \xe2\x80\x93 pre delivery inspection) on Lawn & Garden/Agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Reconditioning which includes: cleaning, painting, replacing parts, servicing of equipment
• Setting up of new equipment out of crates for Turf and Agriculture departments
• Assembly of attachments on new equipment (accessories)
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties according to dealership processes and business system
• Communicates professionally and effectively to Service Managers
• May provide delivery service when needed
• Multi task between equipment and other job roles
• Operate all equipment in safe and controlled manner
• Learn basic functions of equipment to effectively recondition
• Assess machinery for damage, missing or out of place items

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Attention to detail
• Computer skills
• Mechanical skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Provide tools needed to perform job duties

• Specialty tools provided & owned by Dealership
• Detailing experience helpful
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
