We are seeking to recruit an experienced Receptionist/ Building Manager to oversee the daily operations on site. This role is essential for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment for both staff and visitors. Based in London, you will play a key role in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of service.

This role supports the building management team by delivering a slick meet-and-greet and creating a professional, friendly, first impression.

Managing the standard processes of 'front-of-house': post, couriers, contractors, general visitors and the associated access and signing-in procedures.

Working in a friendly, proactive, manner - using initiative to find ways of developing the tenant-experience.

Receptionist will have a 'can do' approach and will work very effectively with letting-agents, contractors, building & security management and other property professionals.

The role

Managing reception:

Duties (include but are not limited to):



Dealing with Visitors & Clients

Offering the highest customer service in all circumstances

Set up, manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients' and tenants' expectations

Meet, greet and manage visitors - 'become the friendly-face of the building'

Represent the developer/landlord in a professional and knowledgeable manner

Manage couriers, post and deliveries

Manage inbound phone calls

General Administration

Submit weekly reports on site activity (as required)

General Management of the building:

Develop effective relationships with clients, agents and contractors

Ensure that the building reception area is always immaculately presented Ensure any vacant space is kept pristine and available for viewing
Liaison with building manager and/or facilities manager to help ensure contractors carry out their duties effectively and assist with any other tasks requested

Reporting issues and managing to resolution through correct process (maintenance log, weekly activity reports)

Pay particular attention to the security of the building

Building checks in line using a bespoke App

Have a proactive approach to problem solving

Additional tenant experience

Create a e:newsletter and communicate regularly with tenants (as required)

Support and/or research and introduce added value services as appropriate and agreed (examples) Car Valeting Dry Cleaning Fitness Clubs Networking Sustainability Negotiate tenant discount freebies at; local shops, restaurants, gym etc.
If pre-agreed with our Client, and as an additional part of the front of house service:

Organise / assist in promotional events; Pop up markets - supporting local businesses as appropriate - Christmas and summer activities etc.

About you

Experience of working in a premium front of house reception role with excellent

customer- focused service delivery

Experience of building management functions such as compiling reports & contract administration - Building management would be advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
