To ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all guests and customers.About the roleMain tasks and dutiesxc2xb7 To maintain and adhere to the company's health and safety policies;xc2xb7 To greet customers with a friendly and approachable manner;xc2xb7 To ensure facilities hygiene standards are maintained to hotel standards;xc2xb7 To maintain and operate the reception area to hotel standards;xc2xb7 To operate the reception computer and balance the cash till at the end of every shift;xc2xb7 To ensure operation of the switchboard, dealing with all customer and telephone enquiries;xc2xb7 To maintain all reception records and ledgers as directed by management;xc2xb7 Booking and reservations for meals, and accommodation;xc2xb7 Processing all outgoing mailsxc2xb7 To provide the relevant departments with daily information i.e. bookings, resident count or any relevant changes or amendments;xc2xb7 To ensure all opening procedures and security are adhered to for the protection of staff and property and customers as a whole;xc2xb7 To promote and sell the hotel and its products in a friendly and helpful manner;xc2xb7 To greet staff in a friendly and approachable manner;xc2xb7 To ensure the hotel lobby is kept clean and tidy to hotel standards;xc2xb7 To clear glasses/cups etc that may be in the hotel lobby;xc2xb7 To deal and handle with customer complaints and requests;xc2xb7 To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance;xc2xb7 To ensure effective communication with management and peers;xc2xb7 To attend training courses as and when necessary;xc2xb7 To check and accept deliveries of goods and equipment as necessaryxc2xb7 To maintain proper and accurate records of all sales, guest accounts as required;xc2xb7 To ensure that due care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, residents, members, and any other persons on the premises;xc2xb7 Report and where appropriate take action on any incident, fire, loss, or damage;xc2xb7 To report all maintenance issues and take appropriate action;Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by the management.About the companyLa Mon Hotel & Country Club is an award winning four star hotel on the periphery of Belfast City CentreRequired Criteria
