Our well-established practice in Broughty Ferry is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team, working Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 17:00 to 21:00
As the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved animals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, a calm and professional demeanour, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing a welcoming and professional reception:
Greeting clients and their pets with courtesy and efficiency.
Managing appointment scheduling:
Accurately booking, confirming, and managing appointments.
Handling telephone and email communications:
Answering inquiries, relaying messages, and managing correspondence effectively.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records.
Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area and other designated spaces.
This includes light cleaning duties to maintain a presentable and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
Providing comfort and support to clients:
Showing empathy and understanding towards pet owners, particularly those with anxious or unwell animals.
Assisting with administrative tasks:
Filing, photocopying, and other general office duties as required.
Collaborating effectively with veterinary surgeons and nurses to ensure seamless patient care.
What We Are Looking For:
