Reporting to the Director of Real Estate and in support of the market growth strategy, the Real Estate specialist will manage existing fleet renewals, lease actions, minor capital investments and initiatives. The specialist will also support business needs and strategies through administrative support with presentations, reporting and lease packages.a day in the life

• In collaboration with the Real Estate Manager, the Specialist will support the area growth strategies and initiatives
• Ensure rents and other lease expenses are paid on time via the lucernex platform
• Raising PO's where required
• Execute leases for renewals, minor capital projects and lease actions, working directly with landlords to negotiate terms and conditions of leases
• Source, negotiate and execute temporary leases, as required, for major capital projects;
• Interface with attorneys to review, negotiate and finalize lease documents;
• Support capital projects by producing real estate presentations; and collaborate with lease administration on amendment reviews and other real estate activities whilst managing lease databases, reports and key lease dates.

qualifications

• 3-5+ yrs related real estate leasing experience
• Effective negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills
• Articulate and concise communication skills- verbal and written
• Strong PowerPoint and excel experience
• Confidence in dealing with people (internal and external) and resolving issues diplomatically
• Resourceful, and high level of initiative
• Proven work ethic with utmost integrity
• Desire to excel and succeed
