The Role of the Radiotherapy Capital Equipment Account Manager:
  • Responsible for promoting a comprehensive range of Radiotherapy Equipment to Radiotherapy departments within hospitals.
  • Your role will allow you to demonstrate your skills by building long term relationships with customers, winning new business and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Maximising order intake of sales.
  • Ensuring continuity of the relationship with the accounts and operating at multiple levels in the accounts\' organisations.
  • Contributing to and driving the development and implementation of local marketing strategies.
  • Maintaining a sales forecast across the assigned accounts and the driving accuracy and predictability.
  • Coordinating all internal necessary resources to obtain objectives and where necessary involves others.
  • Managing post sales customer product and applications training.
  • Maintaining contact with existing users ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and confidence in using the equipment.
  • Providing support at courses delivered by their key accounts/customers.
  • Identifying and documenting all key influencers within their accounts.
  • Ensuring customer expectations are being met by managing the customer feedback loop at all stages of the sales process.
  • Ensuring you keep the sales customer relationship management tool up to date and use on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrating their products at customer sites or hospitals and at conferences/exhibits
  • Reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining your basic product knowledge to ensure you can support customers with basic dedicated front-line applications support.
  • Maintaining good communication with your dedicated line manager, applications specialist and the senior management team.
  • Region covers the South of England

The Ideal Person for the Radiotherapy Capital Equipment Account Manager:
  • Ideally candidate will have a clinical background in Radiotherapy i.e. Radiotherapist, Radiotherapy Technician etc.
  • No commercial experience necessary but would need to demonstrate good commercial acumen to transition to highly commercial role.
  • Would consider proven salespeople from other high value capital sales in similar settings such as Medical Imaging, Endoscopy etc.
  • Must be happy with extensive travel across the region.
  • Must be a good communicator, optimistic and driven to succeed.
  • Must be willing to take on training and seek to develop new skills.
