Job Description

We\'re looking for a Radio Electronics Engineer for a very well-established global company based just outside Cambridge. Easily accessible from Cambridge or Ely, there\'s plenty of free parking for you, pr you can catch the shuttle bus from Cambridge North station. Working with some really cool, next-gen communication products, you\'ll be heavily involved in the whole product lifecycle from initial spec, right through to detailed design and testing.

You\'ll also have responsibility for delivering small product features or significant parts of larger features.

This is a Senior Engineer position who will make a significant contribution to the design and development of products for a global critical communications marketplace.

The role\xe2\x80\xa6

• Design of microprocessor systems and integration of sensors
• Power supply design, to meet low power and high efficiency standards
• Design and validation of audio amplifier designs of up to 10W
• Design verification, including EMC testing
• Create functional and detailed design documents

You must be able to gain UK Security Clearance.

You will need\xe2\x80\xa6

• A Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Plenty of electronics design experience in industry
• Experience with microprocessor and microcontroller design, including requirements for power supplies
• Experience of communication interfaces and buses - USB/3, SPI, I2C, I2S, UART, etc
• UK citizen, able to gain security clearance

Any of the following would be especially helpful\xe2\x80\xa6

• Product development experience
• Design for EMC/ESD
• Audio/low power audio up to 10W
