About the Role
This role is based within the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre (QMLAC) in the School of Law. The Client Services Coordinator works under the Client Services Manager to assist in the day-to-day operation and running of the letter writing clinic and advice work. The Client Services Coordinator is assisted by one full-time and one part-time administrator.
About You
The Client Services Coordinator assists in the education and development of Law Students engaging with the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre and manages the client enquiry and appointment service. The Client Services Coordinator supervises and ensures the effective operation of client appointment evenings. This includes leading a group of volunteer students known as the Support Team who assist with the administration of the Centre.
About the Department/Project
The QMLAC provides free legal advice to members of the public and undertakes public legal education projects in our local community (Street Law). Its two key aims are to enhance the education of our students, and promote access to justice in the community. The QMLAC has 10 members of staff. This role manages two members of staff (Coordinators) who in turn manage two QMLAC Client and Student Administrators. The QMLAC sits within the Department of Law at QMUL.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full-time, permanent appointment, with an expected start date of October 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of \xc2\xa338,165 - \xc2\xa3 44,722 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
