We have an exciting opportunity for a Quarry Operative to join our growing team at Minffordd Quarry, near Porthmadog, North Wales
This role is based in a control room environment and involves supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site.###

Key Responsibilities

Operate and provide cover for the Asphalt Batching Plant, Crushing Plant, and Weighbridge Carry out associated administration tasks using IT systems Ensure all activities are conducted in line with safety, environmental, and quality procedures Assist with day-to-day site operations, including: Maintenance and operation of the asphalt plant Promoting a strong safety culture by setting a positive example Operating systems and equipment as per company procedures

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

A commitment to world-class safety standards Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with drivers and colleagues Experience in a similar role and knowledge of general plant maintenance (advantageous) A valid driving licence A flexible, adaptable approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure
