Quantity Surveyor - Drylining Specialist (NEC4)

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in NEC4 contracts?

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Drylining, you will:

NEC4 Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of NEC4 contracts to effectively manage and administer contracts related to drylining projects.

Project Management: Oversee and manage drylining projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Cost Control: Prepare accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including prestigious clients such as Amazon, Student Accommodation, Car Showrooms, Colleges, and Leisure Centers.

Supplier and Subcontractor Negotiations: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best terms and pricing.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all drylining, SFS, plastering, and suspended ceiling work meets the highest quality standards.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects and contracts.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on drylining projects.

In-depth knowledge of NEC4 contracts.

Strong project management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Experience working with high-profile clients, including Amazon and educational institutions, is a plus.

Location:

This position is based in Wakefield, United Kingdom, with occasional travel to project sites as required.
