Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
TXM Recruit have a brand new opportunity for a Quanity Surveyor based in Central London, with a key client of ours that specialise in Rail Telecommunications.
Salary: \xc2\xa360,000 - \xc2\xa375,000 per annum
We are looking for candidates with the following;
Experience within a services contractor - rail comms or m&e - not client side or main (civils) type bias
Rail experience is advantageous
Good knowledge of a variety of standard forms of contract - NEC experience preferrable
An ability to manage to commercial aspects of a project, both up and down stream
Experience in monthly cost reporting - analysis of costs in the month, forecast of costs going forward
Production of applications for payment
Management of sub-contractor accounts
An ability to manage the change account, including costing change
Claims experience preferred, including extension of time, disruption and acceleration types
Package:
Standard 40 hour week
25 days holiday (+ stats)
5% contributory pension
Private healthcare
Death in Service
2 x volunteering days
Expenses paid for travel and subsistence beyond the standard place of work
