QUANTITY SURVEYOR, LINCOLN

We are looking for a professional, self-motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our passionate team. This position would be based in Lincoln. The role will involve (but will not be limited to) working within the commercial, industrial, agricultural, educational & residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Managing the commercial resources of the assigned project.
\xc2\xb7 Producing and submitting valuations, claims, budget monitoring and performance data.
\xc2\xb7 Preparing project schedules.
\xc2\xb7 Producing comprehensive quotations from BQ\'s, drawings and specifications.
\xc2\xb7 Visiting sites for measures and to carry out valuations.
\xc2\xb7 Meeting with clients to obtain detailed briefs.
\xc2\xb7 Maintaining a consistent chain of communication with clients to generate prompt and accurate proposals.
\xc2\xb7 Negotiating supplier and sub-contractor packages.
\xc2\xb7 Assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
Role Requirements:
\xc2\xb7 Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable.
\xc2\xb7 A minimum of 3 years\' experience within a similar role in the construction industry.
\xc2\xb7 Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel.
\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
\xc2\xb7 Proven time management skills.
\xc2\xb7 Enthusiastic and driven approach.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to transfer knowledge across a variety of sectors.
\xc2\xb7 Full UK Driving Licence.
