Want to work with a fast growing building and roofing company?
Due to growth over the past five years, Michael Wilson & Son has reached a stage where we require a full-time quantity surveyor to join our team and enable our business to tender for larger projects ranging from 50,000 to 500,000.
Working within schools, hospitals, and government organisations, we require the successful candidate to have experience in completing tender documents accurately and on time, schedule of rates, bid management, site surveys, project management, subcontractor engagement/management, and job completion/sign-off.
We are often included in tenders for general building work, ground work, internal refurbishment and roofing, and we would require the successful candidate to have a broad base of construction knowledge.
This is an ideal role for someone who works in a large organisation to come and join a small company and make a big impact, with ambition to grow with the company.
Experience of completing accurate competitive tenders above 50,000
Project management of successful tenders
Trusted subcontractors to enable tender completion
Budget management of projects once successful
Chartered status - MRICS
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 40,000.00-52,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
