Experience: 5+ years (preferably within Civil Engineering or RC Frame & Groundworks)

Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 (or competitive day rate) + Bonus

About the Role

Due to continued company growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, we are seeking a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Department. You'll play a key role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects ranging from 5 million to 30 million.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of developments while maximising project profitability, ensuring timely payments, and helping to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and valuations

Oversee subcontractor procurement and contract administration

Monitor project costs and progress, ensuring financial targets are met

Manage change control and variations

Support project delivery teams with commercial insight and reporting

Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues

Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

Minimum 4-5 years' experience with a Civil Engineering, RC Frame, or Groundwork subcontractor

Strong understanding of commercial processes within large-scale developments

Excellent attention to detail, negotiation skills, and commercial awareness
