Quality Manager - Warrington

Our client, a leader in the Nuclear Industry, are now looking for a Quality Manager to support with their site based in Warrington.

About the role:
The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, advice, and support to the business on all matters relating to quality management. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • You will support the Business Director by producing the quality strategy for their business area, gaining agreement and sponsorship from the senior management team.
  • You will provide coaching, advice, and support at all levels of the business, ensuring successful delivery of quality plan(s) in line with agreed targets.
  • You will support the SSHEQR Director and Senior Quality Manager in defining the business\' processes, plans for quality, and proposes quality targets and agrees them with the organisation\'s leadership
  • You will support the SSHEQR Director and Senior Quality Manager in ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are addressed by the BMS including legal, regulatory, customer and shareholders and that the BMS is maintained and up to date.
  • You will prioritise quality management activities across their business area through effective deployment of risk and opportunity management tools and techniques.
  • You will provide advice and guidance to their business area on the flow down of quality requirements from Customers and other stakeholders through the supply chain.
  • You will ensure that all Quality events are promptly investigated at the correct level, and that key lessons learned from events are identified and publicised.
  • You will support the collation of reporting data for the Business Unit(s)
  • You will support the business winning process through input into or review of tender requirements.
What you will need:
Ideally you will have skills and experience covering the below:
  • Science/Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification) plus experience
  • Chartered member of the Quality Institute and registered on appropriate CPD scheme (desirable)
  • Approved Auditor qualification (or has demonstrable skills and track record) (desirable)
  • Have a proven track record preferably gained within a similar role in the Nuclear or other highly regulated high hazard industry (desirable)
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance
