Multimatic CFT Ltd. manufactures precision carbon fibre reinforced components for numerous motorsport teams including Formula 1 as well as the automotive industry. Additionally, Multimatic CFT has earned a strong reputation for producing high quality components for the aerospace and communications industries.

We are currently recruiting a Quality Inspector to join our highly skilled team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of different projects and inspection techniques ensuring all quality and production standards are met.

Key responsibilities:

Full inspection of a wide range of components to ensure they comply with drawings and standards required Program and operate various measurement and testing equipment, including our CMM and FARO arms both using Polyworks software. Use of manual measuring techniques to include bore micrometer, digital calipers, plug gauges and thread gauges etc. Accurately record and communicate any quality related issues with both design and manufacturing Suggest and implement corrective & preventative actions Work to tight deadlines and detailed schedules Train and mentor Junior Inspectors, sharing knowledge to ensure best practice for future development
Basic requirements:

Excellent observational and analytical skills Understanding of how to use manual measuring equipment and various measuring techniques, hand tools and Faro Arm. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong verbal and written communication skills IT skills suitable for completing Excel spreadsheets, emails and quality documents.
Desirables:

Experience in carbon fibre / assembly methods Management or team leader experience Flexibility with a team centred attitude Understanding and knowledge of ISO 9001 GD&T / engineering drawing understanding and experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-38,000.00 per year
