Position: Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the site's Quality representative during Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Represent the site's Quality department when communicating with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and internal departments. Collaborate with Customers, Customer Centers (CC) teams, and other Quality members to address customer concerns and manufacturing quality issues within the plant. Use data analysis to support problem-solving processes and provide feedback to guide internal projects. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards and Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs). Maintain linkages between process flow, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan, Work Instructions, and records. Assist the Supplier Development team by participating in site audits or providing expert advice for supplier PPAP submissions.

Skills

Essential:

Experience in an automotive/aerospace quality role Understanding of IATF16949/AS9100/ISO9001 Understanding of customer-specific requirements. Confident, articulate communicator Strong team and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and proactive Professional and credible company representative
