Avondale Foods now has positions for Full Time Quality Assurance Technicians.

Hours and Days of work:

Sunday to Thursday, 2330-0800

Avondale Foods is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses such as Marks & Spencer, Asda and Morrison's and Waitrose in the UK.

This key role is Responsible for food safety and quality, ensuring that all products are produced to customer specifications/guidelines. Ensuring that all food safety and quality records are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring daily compliance of all Food Safety and GMP Practices Being responsible for ensuring finished product quality for our customer Monitoring and verification of all factory CCP's Verification of product date codes, packaging, weights and quality of products produced Daily calibration checks on measuring equipment

Essential Criteria:

Knowledge of Food Safety Principles/Good Manufacturing Practises Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Good verbal & written communications Skills (High standard of English essential) Flexible approach to working hours to cover needs of the business Reliable and strong work ethic with attention to detail

Desirable Criteria:

Level 2 Food Safety Level 2 HACCP Internal Auditor Training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.92-13.92 per hour
