Job Description


Overview of the role To be a champion for compliance within the business, specifically relating to GDP & GMP training, QM systems and processes. Identifying areas for improvement and working with the compliance leadership team to drive a high performing and complaint culture. Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the EU GDP (2013/C 343/01) and EU GMP (2003/94/EC).
  • Management, implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System
  • Periodic review of the quality system elements.
  • Assist in MHRA inspections, Home Office inspections, and internal inspections
  • Planning refresh training on GDP and GMP periodically.
  • Ensuring training and competency assessment of a nominated deputy person on delegated responsibilities to fulfil Management and record keeping of any delegated responsibilities.
  • Ensuring qualification and approval of suppliers and customer.
  • Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
  • Coordinating and promptly performing recalls.
  • Ensuring investigation and effective management of complaints.
  • Ensuring that self-inspections are performed at regular predefined intervals and necessary CAPA is implemented.
  • Implementing and maintaining a Quality Risk Management system to ensure that risks are adequately controlled in accordance with current requirements.
  • Managing all validation activities, including validation strategy and approval of protocols and reports.
  • Implement corrective measures and monitoring their progress.
  • Periodic review of environmental monitoring records.
  • Management of final disposition of returned, rejected, recalled, and falsified products.
  • Preparing, reviewing and approving Technical and Quality Agreements.
  • Ensuring implementation of a proposed change through a formal change management process.
  • Providing direction and guidance to the Quality team.
  • Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within the organization.
  • Perform delegated RP responsibilities in the absence of RPs on site.

  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry would be advantageous
