Halton Borough Council is offering an exciting opportunity as a Quality Assurance officer in our established Local Authority Quality Assurance Team.

This is a permanent part time (18.5 hour) position working a 2 week rolling rota (3 days one week, 2 days second week - days to be agreed). Occasional out of hours working will be required in line with business requirements.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will provide a supportive approach in the monitoring and delivery of service improvements where CQC ratings or other concerns indicate it to be a priority.

You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic team player with good interpersonal and communication skills who is fully committed about working as part of an inter-agency team across health and social care. We are looking for someone with relevant health/ social care experience with adults/or older people and good understanding of Health and Social Care legislation and regulations. Experience of safeguarding process, multi-agency working and working as part of a team are also essential. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. In addition, you must hold a full driving license and be able to work flexibly.

In addition to the salary, you will receive up to 33 days annual leave per annum and an essential car user allowance. With reimbursement for any work related costs of toll fees when using the Mersey Gateway Bridge and support and access to comprehensive training to enable continuous development.
