Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Superdrug Head Office - East Croydon

Hours: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.

Role Purpose:

• The role is responsible for the technical project management and delivery of new product development plans along with the provision of strategic technical support to the Own Brand team within assigned product categories.
• They will ensure product and supplier compliance with current legal requirements and AS Watson specific requirements within assigned product categories.

A typical day in this role includes:

• The candidate will interact with Own Brand buyers, 3rd party suppliers , marketing, design, PR, legal,raw material suppliers.
• The candidate will work closely with the category buyer to investigate new trends, market gaps and develop products to fill these gaps
• The candidate will be enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be capable of making commercial decisions while ensuring the product complies with all relevant legislation.
• The candidate will need to work well in a team environment

What you\'ll need:

• You need a minimum of 5 years industry experience, within formulating, retail or research
• A scientific degree and working knowledge of critical path management
• Ideally experience within the skincare category
• You will have a good understanding of UK/EU cosmetic legislation
