Duties
Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to each child's learning journey.
Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting respect and inclusion among all children.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
Skills
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
Leadership qualities to inspire and guide fellow team members while managing nursery dynamics.
A drive to continuously improve personal skills in early childhood education through professional development opportunities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.

Qualifications Level 3 Practitioner or above
Paediatric First Aid Desirable ( can be completed)
Dbs is required for this position( can be completed )

Our setting is open 51 weeks for the year between 7.00 -18.00 this position is flexible hours between these times to meet the needs of the nursery.
